The gentleman and lady's palladium and diary, for the year of our Lord 1756. Containing, (besides what is usual,) many new improvements in science, on a plan quite new: particularly, perpetual astronomical and chronological tables; by which the moon's age, and place, for any month and day in the year for ever, are known at sight; and likewise the sun's place, time of high water at London, and moon's rising and setting for the same time. The discovery of the longitude, reduced to practice, by observation of the moon; according to the method first pointed out by the late celebrated astronomer royal, Dr. Edmund Halley.
