A modest enquiry into the conduct of the Court of Aldermen. In which the true reasons that induced them to put a stop to the building of the Mansion-House, By their Negative Vote of the 7th of June last, In common council, are respectfully sought for, but not found. With some Short Reflexions on the use and abuse of the Negative Power in that Court.
