The spirit of the French refugees manifested: being an apology in favour of the English and French proselytes, and particularly, of John Baptist Denis. Shewing The Subject and the just Reasons which forced him to withdraw himself from the Churches of the French Refugees in London, after having frequented them for upwards of Fourteen Years. Submitted to the Judgment of the whole Equitable and Generous English Nation, and to all such as are Men of Honour among the French Refugees. By the said John Baptist Denis, Minister and L. L. B. naturaliz'd here, formerly Priest, Prebendary of the Chapel of our Lady of Dom-Germain (diocese of Toul in Lorrain) Curate of Germè, and two other Villages annexed unto it, and afterwards Chaplain and Secretary to the Bishop of Meaux; now Cardinal de Bissy.
