Representation from the Commissioners for trade and plantations, to the Right Honourable the Lords Spiritual and temporal, in Parliament assembled, in pursuance of their Lordships addresses to His Majesty of the 1st and 5th of April, 1734. relating to the state of the British islands in America, with regard to their trade, their strength, and fortifications, and to what may be further necessary for the encouragement of their trade, and security of those islands: As likewise to such Encouragements as may be necessary to engage the Inhabitants of the British Colonies on the Continent in America, to apply their Industry to the Cultivation of Naval Stores of all kinds, and of such other Products as may be proper for the Soil of the said Colonies, and do not interfere with the Trade or Produce of Great Britain.
