Containing, a full and true account of the barbarous and bloody murder of one Elizabeth Wood, living in the city of Bristol, committed by her own son; as she was riding, on the 20th day of July, to Chippenham market. How he cut her Throat from Ear to Ear, also how the Murder was found out by the Apparition of her Ghost. The Manner of his being apprehended and taken. His Dying Words at the place of Execution; with a true Copy of Verses written with his own hand, in Bristol Jail: Being a Warning to all disobedient Children to obey their Parents. Published by order of the ministers that attended him, while he was under confinement; and attested by them. Mr. Watt, and Mr. Finlay, both ministers.
