Utopia: containing an impartial history of the manners, customs, polity, government, &c. of that island. Written in Latin by Sir Thomas More, Chancellor of England. And interspersed with many important articles of secret history, relating to the state of the British nation. Translated into English by Gilbert Burnet, late Bishop of Sarum. To this edition is added, A short account of Sir Thomas More's life and trial: and a Prayer made by him while he was a Prisoner in the Tower. The whole revis'd, corrected, and improv'd by a gentleman of Oxford.
