A concise history of the cathedral church of Peterborough, from its foundation to the present time. Containing the Manner in which it has been Destroyed Once by the Danes, and Twice by Fire, and as Often Re-Edified: Also, its Escape from the General Downfall of Abbies in the Reign of Henry Viii. Including likewise, the death of Mary Queen of Scots, at Fotheringay Castle, and her Interment in this Cathedral.
